Ewhurst, Surrey

At Retreat Box, we relax and uplift.

RETREAT BOX welcomes you to the village of Ewhurst in the Surrey Hills for tea and a slice of quality time on our Wellbeing Wednesdays. Settle in and allow yourself to be guided through a gentle day of wellbeing and self-care. Our goal is simple: we want you to come away feeling empowered, relaxed and uplifted. Everything we do has a purpose because we believe life is to be cherished.

Learn techniques for listening to your inner voice, increasing levels of self-acceptance and kindness towards yourself. Gain inner confidence in the knowledge that you have the tools to connect with this feeling whenever you need it.

Relax and lie down to receive healing sound frequencies from crystal singing bowls, listen to a talk on the importance of prioritising our own needs, get cosy lying down and be guided through a deeply healing meditation and try forest bathing (don’t worry no need to remove clothes ;-).

You’ll take away some easy practical techniques for everyday wellbeing, make new connections and enjoy the special alchemy of the retreat day.

“This was just what I needed.  I feel connected, calm and happy. Thank you Catherine and Ingela!”
– Lianne

Ingela Doyle

Ingela is a Reiki teacher and sound healer. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Psychoanalytic observational studies from the Tavisock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and is committed to improving Mental Wellbeing. In January 2022, Ingela and her family moved from London to the Surrey countryside. It’s been a steep learning curve raising chickens, growing vegetables and holding farm retreats.

Catherine Godbolt

Catherine qualified as a chiropractor before training as a craniosacral therapist, working for over twenty years in a GP practice in Belgravia, London. She began to more fully appreciate the link between the physical and mental health of her patients and saw first hand the critical role self-care plays in our overall wellbeing. This insight and desire to empower individuals with tools for a solid foundation of wellbeing sparked the creation of Retreat Box.

As a woman who is busy looking after other people, it is so important to look after yourself! This is a really lovely way to do it.
